Named Kamui Divus, the last name Divus is actually an assumed name. He took it from his first mentor, Sagus Divus, a few hundred years ago.

Kamui claims to be a very weak blooded vampire. Enough vampiric blood courses through his veins as to give him immortal life and a very slight magical aura. However, due to the thinness of his vampiric power, he cannot call upon the strength or speed normally possesed by one. On the plus side, he can go a long time inbetween feeding and sunlight does not bother him a whole lot.

His history is very long and I do not care to write it all out, except maybe for some highlights. He was the key part of a prophecy back with his own people as a teenager. This prophecy was fulfilled, granting him arcane and martial power, but branded him as an outcast.

Leaving his home, he scoured the world (And various others, he claims.)for three centuries. According to him he ruled two monarchies in his time. At least four full scale wars, being everything from a footsoldier, to a Knight of the Realm, to a general leading an army against the strange and mystical foes.

In his most recent life before the Realm of Mystery, he shared rulership of a nation called Gryphon. The reign was short lived, though. For the lands the nation was based in were vastly upset by the magics of a full scale war. Time itself was ripped apart, blasting Kamui to the Realm of Mystery Outlands....it was there he was found by the Knight Rowell. Kamui was taken in, and sheltered by various people. From Aria to Lady Brenna of the White Mages, Kamui's wounds were tended to by the kind people he found in this realm.

However, they could not heal all wounds. Kamui's psyche was scarred beyond repair. Whether though a deep rooted sense of evil, lack of morals, or some other foul mental disorder, Kamui eventually gravitated to the Necromancer's Guild.

It was not long before entropy and will drove those before him out, and he was promoted to Guild Leader of the Necromancer's Guild. From that position, he took his liberties with life around him, and the spirits who resided in the lands beyond. His time was spent in research, questing for new and better ways to work his magic. His goal, to achieve some of the power which he had so long ago...But it was not to be.

Ignorence in the land rised up, and was given a face. Illuison, leader of the Thieves Guild, challenged Kamui and his magics. Calling them heresy and an insult to the Goddess, Illusion waged war upon the lone Necromancer. Receiving modest support from other zealots, Illusion's allies drove back the undead forces defending Kamui's great Citadel.

One night was all it took, and the great Citadel lay in ruins before mighty siege towers. But, not without a fight. Demons and dragons raged about the battlefield as scores of drow warriors fell. In defeating a Necromancer, they merely stocked the lands of the dead full with new arrivals. Also, Kamui was not dead...

Escaping the ruins through the shadow realm with naught but himself and an ally, he made his way to freedom....and retribution. For it was also that night that Kamui slew and immolated one of those that (in Kamui's eyes) betrayed him, the Cosmic Guild Leader Maple.

Now a villain even more so in the eyes of the common man in the Realm, Kamui fled temporarily to the Oulands. He knew not what he went there for. Maybe to find where he first stepped into the realm, to find a way back. But alas, after the destruction of the Necromancer's Citadel, Kamui's power fell every day. Untill it happened. The destruction of the Guilds, and the formation of Noctis and Noresh. A natural candidate the evil group of Noctis, Kamui was readily accepted into Kali's ranks as a swordsman. He was quick, though, to persuade Kali to allow him to teach his own brand of combat. The art of the Shadow Blades.

But as all power tends to in these troubled lands, the natural order of things was quickly thrown into disarray. Kamui was driven by some inner demons as he rose through the ranks of Noctis. Once he had enough power to strike out on his own, he started to work feverishly on a dark project within his new residence. The strain his works had on the Realm though did not go unnoticed, and he quickly gained enemies in both Noctis and Noresh.

His plans never were fully revealed. Some whisper tales of a plague, some say he wanted to kill off the Realm and raise them as his own personal army of zombies. Others whisper tales in the darkest corners of the taverns about screams coming from his castle. Of strange experiments he performed while whispering something in a foreign tongue. Could it be Illusion was right all along? No one could tell for sure, because again Kamui was driven from the land. Most of his structures collapsed into ruin, his standing armies into dust. And the object of strife in the Realm once more fades away.

But is that all? Is he truly gone? Even now on the Sorikan Plains a rumor spreads that a man who looks like Kamui(maybe a relative?) wanders alone. But these rumors are dismissed, as the man in question is a kinder one then in the previous tales. And also he claims no knowledge of accusations made against him of actions taken by Kamui Divus.
